PUER TEA


Pure is a kind of fully fermented tea from Yunnan, southern China. Depending on the methods of production, it is categorised into Sheng Pier (raw tea), and Shu Pure (rip tea).

Sheng Pure tea is golden yellow and has sweet floral gragrant. Sipping it promotes the secretion of saliva and accelerates your body’s inner flow.

Shu Puer tea appears bright red in colour and gives out a sweet fragrant of jujube. In Chinese medicine, some believe that it calms both your spirit and your stomach.

Efficacy: Remove greasy, reduce fat. The ingredients contained in dark tea can promote amylase hydrolysis and improve intestinal function. It is suitable for people with obesity and poor digestive function.

Characteristics: dry leaf color is dark brown or yellowish brown; soup color is orange-yellow, orange-red or amber; leaf bottom color is yellowish-brown, black-brown oily.

The taste is mellow and smooth; the old tea is mellow and smooth, with a long-lasting and obvious sweetness, with old and medicinal fragrance.

Process: picking fresh leaves - fixing green - rolling - stacking - drying

Representative: Anhua dark tea: Fuzhuan, black brick, Huazhuan, Huajuan, Tianjian, etc.; Diangui dark tea: Yunnan Pu'er, Guangxi Liubao tea


HOW TO BREW PUER:

AMOUNT:
In a 200ml tea pot, use 4g of tea leaves

Inject water along the wall, use ring water injection or spiral water injection.  
0: wash the tea with 100’C water for 10-30 seconds depending on the size of the tea brick. if the brick is dense, wash one more time till the leaves generally loosen from each other
1-5: brew for 10 seconds
5-?: add 10 seconds each time

TIME IN THERMAL BOTTLE:
leave it in for 1 hour before drinking
can repeat for several times

TEMPERATURE
Use 100 celcius degree water

Buy a tester package of 10g for one ceremony. 10g of tea can be brewed for at least 10 times in a 200ml pot.

OSMANTHUS




This is not the conventional way of serving tea, however Osmanthus is a great topping for fermented black tea, just brew the Puer in a thermal bottle for an hour. Pour the Puer tea in a tea cup and sprinkle a few dried osmanthus pedals on top. The fragrant will be activated by the hot steam, and it will blow your mind.

Buy a tester package of 4g for one ceremony. You can sprinkel just a tiny pinch on your Tea. So 4g can last for a long time.
