WHITE TEA



The reason why white tea is called "white tea" is mainly because the tea leaves on the body of white tea show a bright silvery-white color from picking to making

White tea is divided into three varieties, namely Baihao Yinzhen (silver needle with white hair), Baimudan (white peony) and Shoumei (brows of longevity). 

White tea is sweet and flat, and can be drunk all year round. The production process of white tea is relatively simple. The traditional process of no frying and no kneading is adopted to maximize the retention of active enzymes and polyphenols in tea leaves. 

Main types: white bud tea and white leaf tea.

Quality characteristics: tea buds are complete, natural in shape, pekoe revealed, fresh in aroma, sweet in taste, durable and resistant to foaming.

Representatives: Baihao Yinzhen, White Peony, Gongmei, Shoumei, etc.

The white tea we offer currently is a small species from the natural ecological area of Fujian. Being 680 meters to 700 meters above the sea level, the soil is soft and contains a lot of minerals. The fresh tea leaves are relatively bright yellow and green, with fine taste, and low bitterness. After local craftsman's traditional polishing processes, the finished white tea has a fresh and sweet taste, and quenches thirst!

 
HOW TO BREW WHITE TEA:

AMOUNT:
In a 200ml tea pot, use 4g of tea leaves

TIME:
new tea is generally brewed with boiling water of about 85-95 degrees, if it is old white tea, it can be brewed at high temperature, and the sweetness is better, thick and rich.

0: wash the tea
1-3: 20 seconds
4-?: add 5-10 seconds each time

TEMPERATURE
Use 95-100 celcius degree water. Only in this way can various substances and aromas in white tea be released better

SUITABLE TEA WARE:
The best tea set for brewing white tea is white porcelain tureen, followed by glass cups, but white tea cannot be brewed with purple sand (zisha) tea set, otherwise it will absorb the aroma of white tea

The name of white peony does not mean that this kind of white tea is scented tea, but its graceful posture of one bud and two leaves and its shape in the water when brewing is like a blooming peony.

White peony tea has less milli-alkali content, so the floral fragrance it releases will overwhelm the milli-scent. The floral aroma is the main one, supplemented by the milli-scent. It is mellow and elegant, sweet and soft. If it has a strong floral fragrance and soy milk aroma, it is a rare and good product. Especially the peonies that were only made in those years have a distinct bean fragrance. After a few years of storage, the bean fragrance will gradually turn into a plum fragrance.
